Install the Expansion Board (EB1)
These models require an EB1 Expansion Board to safely interface with third‑party controls.
Install the EB1 onto the operator.
Confirm all EB1 connections to the Main Control Board (MCB) are secured.
Connect the Third‑Party Access Control
Locate the Door Activation Inputs on the EB1.
Connect the third‑party access control using a momentary, voltage‑free (dry contact) closure.
This is critical to avoid damage or incorrect activation.
Additional input options exist depending on required functionality.
Refer to the EB1 Manual for details.
Safety Warning – Do NOT Use the C10A Input
Do not connect any third‑party device to the C10A terminal.
Doing so bypasses safety entrapment detection.
This may cause dangerous or unintended door behaviour.
Configure Door Behaviour
Use the EB1 dipswitch settings to program how the operator responds to the activation inputs.
Different dipswitch combinations define OPEN‑ONLY, OPEN/CLOSE, or momentary‑pulse behaviour.
